How to Contribute
We welcome the following:
- Rumors that are local and political in nature. For example, this includes rumors about your city or county governmental officials (elected or employed) or candidates. For national rumors, we encourage you to go to Factcheck.org. Note that we will not print rumors until we have some evidence that they are true or untrue.
- [even better] Rumors that are local and political in nature, and which you have the firm evidence to confirm, deny, or clarify. By ‘clarify’, we mean that some rumors are based in fact, but have the wrong conclusions; or that the facts are stated in such a way as to be immediately misunderstood by a majority of readers.
- Comments on contributions that we already have posted, so long as your comments are based on fact, are well documented, and appear to pursue the truth and not a personal agenda. We are the final arbiters of this.
